macro blossoms {grand rapids photographer}

I’d almost forgotten that I even had a macro lens; I couldn’t really think of any fun uses for it during the cold winter months, aside from some macro shots of snowflakes.  And believe me, even those, as neat as they are, start to get old after a while;)

With Spring finally making an appearance here in Michigan, I dusted off my 100mm macro and stepped outside my front door, where we have this pretty ornamental cherry tree.  It’s not fruit-bearing, but the blossoms are so pretty in the spring!

I hope that everyone is enjoying Spring!:)
