I love photographing Kelsey, and I mean I love it. She is comfortable in front of the camera and never questions me when I ask her to do crazy things; she’s just go-with-the-flow, easy to be around, and oh yeah – she’s clearly stunning!
Kelsey was the first person I photographed after we moved here to the frozen tundra in December 2009. I was itching to shoot someone and she was game. Kelsey was a sophomore at the time and I dragged her out into a snowy field to sit on an ugly green chair, and we had a great time. Now she is a beautiful high school senior with big things on the horizon, and I just adore her to pieces.
This is just a quick preview, but believe me when I say that I am going to have one HUGE blog post of images in a couple of weeks featuring this gorgeous girl, so stay tuned! We headed to downtown Grand Rapids (or “G.Rap” as I like to call it, ha!) and had a blast taking some really fun pictures.
I hope you like your images, Kelsey! Thanks for being all around fabulous! xoxo

Wow, your black and white rocks. I am drawn right in, the comp, conversion, everything is just perfect. I think this may be my first time on your blog, and I wanted to say I LOVE it. Orange is my favorite color, and this is such a happy, fun blog! Great job.
Beautiful work!
Fun and pretty. Love what you have done here!

Beautiful, Lila! Love the movement in the first ones, how fun!
Oh, she’s just GORGEOUS!!! That b&w shot of her is stunning…I love how piercing clear her eyes are. The conversion is awesome too…just beautiful tonality in it. The first set is so fun as well..love the movement it the hair and I know how difficult that can be to capture. I think you ROCK…seriously ROCK:)
Wow. You are truly talented!! These are absolutely stunning!
These just ROCK Lila! I love the fresh and funky feel and it looks like it was a fun session.
Gorgeous girl! Can’t wait to see more for sure!
Downtown Grand Rapids has the best little nooks and alleys and textures for photographing, love it!
