This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing this stunning family of four at their family’s beach home in South Haven! Kudos to them for being up for the early morning challenge – they were dressed and cheerful and ready to go at 7am! Up here in Michigan, the sun comes out a little earlier in the morning and stays out later in the evening than other places I’ve lived, which can make shooting on the beach a little tricky since it’s such an open space and the light can be quite harsh. So for morning sessions, in order to get the optimal light, we have to shoot at 7am – but you’d never know it was so early for this family – they were so happy and up for anything! So fabulous!
